Simple Easter Decorations

Easter is one of those odd holidays for me.  My husband and I don’t have children yet – so sometimes I hesitate going all-out decorating our home for holidays.  Especially ones like Easter, where the decorations can tend to lean towards the child-like or cheesy-side.  But, I love switching up the decor [...]

Trend Alert: Daffodil Yellow

I love the first signs of Spring.  Especially the bunches of tulips and daffodils I see on my weekly spin thru Whole Foods!  It’s amazing how one little vase of flowers sitting on my kitchen table can brighten the entire room!  The color yellow is the epitome of Spring to me – [...]

Holiday D-I-Y Placemats

Sometimes all your table needs is a pop of color….placemats can get expensive, especially if you are entertaining a crowd!  When I was in Europe earlier this Fall, all of the high-end home stores were showing thick, felt placemats.  When used on a table, they created a warm and cozy look….perfect for the Holidays!  The placemats [...]

Christmas Decor: Ruby Red with a touch of Lime Green

When it comes to Christmas decor, there is no combination I love more than red and lime green.  I love the accent of the lime green up against the Christmas tree, the contrast when paired with deep ruby red.  It makes me happy.

A Gilded Halloween

There are so many different ways to decorate your home with pumpkins this season…..you can decorate them with ribbon, create displays by color, or stack them to create pumpkin topiaries.  For a more sophisticated Fall display, you could use all white pumpkins or add a touch of glamour with gilded pumpkins.

A little paint and some creative [...]
