My pink Mother’s Day tablesetting from the Spring 2103 issue of The Party Dress Magazine included this darling boxwood and rose centerpiece project that was so simple to create, I just had to share it with you.
You can create this using silk or real flowers. The supplies are simple: a footed vessel, a boxwood ball (sized [...]

Cameron’s Dapper Derby 1st Birthday party was so much fun to design, it truly has me itching to plan a Derby party of my own! If you are hosting one where kiddos will be in attendance, here are some darling ideas on how to set a theme appropriate table, just for them.

Living in Chicago, I’m used to LONG winters. So when the first signs of Spring arrive, I’m dying to celebrate! When we moved into our home {almost} 4 years ago, we had some serious updating to do on the sunroom attached to the back of our house. I had a vision for the space – clean, [...]

I designed and styled it for my best friend’s two children’s first communion (they are 11 months apart, and in the same grade). A fresh color palette of blue, green and white with accents in navy blue, I combined a geometric greek key pattern with a bold floral pattern to appeal to both the girls and boys! I gathered up a few to play with, including a new bunny cake stand from Pottery Barn, and came up with this project. [...]

Today, it’s this picture of a fresh, updated interior. I absolutely LOVE the clean lines, the black, [...]

When it came to designing a Christmas party for the holiday issue of The Party Dress magazine, I decided that I wanted to put a chic, girly spin to it with a festive color palette of pink, red and green. I also wanted to provide you with ideas that could be used for either an adult [...]

Can you believe Thanksgiving is in a few short days? Although my parents host Thanksgiving dinner, I always help set a beautiful table. We tend to go more sophisticated and glam for the tablesetting (for 15!), so when it comes to my November dinner parties I tend to lean more towards the rustic, Fall look.
I recently [...]
