I recently styled a “play group” birthday party for a sweet 1 year old named Spencer. Held at a local gym, Spencer’s mom had little space to work with and wanted a simple, yet stylized look. For more details, head on over to my post on Project Nursery or our picture gallery.
Today’s real party feature is a darling preppy pool party featuring party goods by WH Hostess! Pink, green and a whole lot of preppy polka dots – this is what Gracie’s mom requested when she came to me for invitations and party accessories for her daughter’s 5th birthday. Because I am surrounded by such beauty, it takes a lot to REALLY wow me. This fabulous, stunning, crazy-inventive table setting and hanging decor (which you know is my latest obsession!) I have a darling party to share with you today! A darling BOY birthday party….which I know you all think is hard to come by! This is an amazing example of a stylized party that appeals to both little boys and their parents! I was contacted by Gavin’s mom to help her [...] I am absolutely in love with this gorgeous centerpiece I saw from a recent wedding featured on Style Me Pretty! It’s such a simple and inexpensive idea – gather a series of glass vases and hurricanes, fill with water, and place a floating candle in each of them. Clustered together the glow makes a huge impact! [...] Next up for our damask collection party inspirations…..a sophisticated bridal shower. Pink and orange is one of my favorite combinations! You can make it look sweet or modern – the colors are easy to tailor to any bride! I think you could take inspiration from this board and use it for a birthday party or luncheon too.
