Today we are sharing the stunning details of event planner, Lauren Stewart’s, baby shower (as seen in the Spring 2013 issue of The Party Dress Magazine). Did you drool over the gorgeous tablesettings and breath-taking ocean views?! Did the baby shower games and activities from this post inspire you for an upcoming baby shower? We’re back with the “sweet” details of the sparkling peach dessert table.
The peach color palette from the baby shower was carried thru every detail of the dessert table. The dessert table was draped in a peach sequin tablecloth from La Tavola, with our chevron pennant banner hanging across the front stating “S is for Sweet”. Different shades of peach balloons were tiered behind the dessert table, creating an ombre affect. This is a great DIY project that could be recreated for any event, any color palette.
The desserts were created by Sweet & Saucy Shop and included a chevron two-tiered cake, color-coordinated cupcakes, cake pops, parfaits, and chocolate dipped rice crispy treats, as well as custom sugar cookies.
Signage is a fabulous way to tie in your theme on any dessert table. You can see here that we designed coordinating chevron food tent cards, and there were also mint colored signage with gold calligraphy. The perfect touch of the mint accent color.
The shower was such a special event thanks to Lauren’s friends who made her feel so loved and supported!
