Giveaway: Silhouette SD Machine

It has been a VERY exciting week around here!  First the launch of our new logo and blog re-design, then the launch of our 2nd TPD Magazine, followed up by three exclusive, custom party features by WH Hostess, and then we reached 5000 fans on facebook!  And now…….a SILHOUETTE SD MACHINE GIVEAWAY!  Pretty exciting, right?!

The silhouette machine is a unique tool that will upgrade your crafts or small business to a whole new level.  It connects to your computer just like a printer, but instead of printing designs it cuts them with a small blade. With the machine connected to your computer, you’ll get access to all of the fonts on your PC plus the thousands of cuttable designs found on the Silhouette Online Store.  Just think of the possibilities!

As you can imagine, I love using mine for paper crafts, but it can do so much more!  Glass etching, temporary tatoos, vinyl decals, scrapbooking….the sky is the limit!

So, let’s get to the good stuff.  Silhouette is offering one reader a Silhouette SD Machine (a $270 value)!  Here’s how to enter:

Leave a comment here on what you would make with your machine.  A winner will be chosen at random on June 28th.  Want a few extra entries?

  1. Become a fan of Silhouette on Facebook
  2. Become a fan of The Party Dress on Facebook
  3. View our latest The Party Dress Magazine and leave a comment here what is your favorite article

Can’t wait to see if you won?!  We have a special promo code just for you!  Use the code PARTYDRESS to purchase 1 Silhouette SD Machine and 2 Packages of Temporary Tattoo Paper for just $199 (that’s $120 savings!).  Happy Shopping and Good Luck to all who is entering!

I love the article on “How to create a memory wall.” Such a great idea!

This is for my wife. She loves this website and blog and talks about it constantly. She has mentioned the Silhouette SD several times to me and has done quiteva few projects where the Silhouette would have come in handy. Mostly she likes to just create and I know she would love creating a multitude of things with this machine. She has even mentioned using it to make temp ratios for our boys.

I have to tell you that even though I’m 62 and all of you girls are my daughter’s age, I found your magazine so inspirational and full of many great ideas. Just cause I’m in my sixties doesn’t mean I’m dead! Got so much to do with my grand children’s birthday parties and a sip and see for my daughter’s new baby. And a silhouette would come in very handy for parties, love your memory wall, your pink shower and your sip and sea!
    Help me out girls!

I have a washing machine and a dryer that don’t match. I would use the silhouette machine to create damask style cutouts and decorate the machines to match.

When viewing the magazine I was impressed by two articles above all others. The sip and sea party and the 4th of July Americana revamp of the traditional picnic. The pictures of both are so detailed that I believe I appreciate and have learned how to apply both party ideas to my own gatherings. Out of the two the Americana 4th of July picnic was my favorite. Its sweets table and old style lanterns as decor truly captures an essence to traditional American life as well as modern chic details that add so much to a party.

  • I would make paper crafts, especially party favors and banners!

The silhouette machine would make me the best class mom in the history of class moms.

Thanks for the inspiratoin in my inbox.

  • I just peeked at the magazine & I LOVE IT! What great ideas…I adored the pirate themed party b/c, while it was the popular pirate idea, it was unique. The candy necklace theme children’s party was adorable, too! OK…truth is, they were all adorable, but those 2 stood out.

I love the silhouette. I borrowed one from a friend to cut out everything for my son’s third birthday. I need one of my own now to design and cut out all my party goods for a graduation party in August.

  • I love the article on the memory wall. It’s such perfect timing because my youngest just graduated from kindergarten and the teacher gave each student a silhouette of themselves. My mom found my silhouette from when I was 8. I would love to have a silhouette of my other two daughters and add pictures of my parents and grandparents as well as my husband and in-laws to make a memory wall. Your article gave me inspiration. THANKS!
